Designing for someone you knew

Working with the Benjamin Reiser Foundation made me careful about what design is doing when the subject is personal.

Designing for someone you knew

Benjamin was my friend before his name became an event logo. That changes how carefully you choose a tone.

A pickleball tournament and an outdoor concert should not look identical. Both should feel connected to the same values without turning memory into branding.

The goal is to create experiences people would actually want to be part of—and that still feel true.
